Field Trip to Red Hill (Archifest 2020 Edition)
Join us as we embark on our virtual Field Trip to Redhill (Archifest 2020 Edition), uncovering design secrets, green thumbs, and stories hidden beneath its vernacular! Through a mix of guided and spontaneous wanderings, we hope to uncover the design of everyday life and our shared community spaces in this bizarre, fun and collective manner—revealing the uncommon beauty of common things around us. Let’s look beyond the familiar sights to (re)think and (re)imagine how we can engage and empower our communities!
Location: Zoom (link will be emailed to you 1 day before the event)

Myths on a Red Hill is an open classroom that brings together the community to activate civic imagination through storytelling. Built in the field of Redhill, the pavilion is inspired by drawing parallels between the local folklore of how Redhill got its name and our current challenges - going beyond myths of the past to the present. Through a series of ground-up initiatives, workshops and creative modes of exchange, the pavilion grows as a living archive — collectively weaving narratives, experiences and stories of different individuals and communities.
